We know getting around Coronado can be tough, here are some guidelines for where to park if you are planning to visit Coronado.
- There are parking meters along Orange Avenue in the downtown area and on some of the side streets. Most meters are twenty-five cents per hour with a 2-hour limit.
- At the meters, there is no charge for parking after 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, on Sundays and on holidays.
- There are a few paid lots in the city, including Albertson’s, the Coronado Ferry Landing, Coronado Plaza, Vons and Walgreen’s. Please read the sign at each lot as pricing varies.
- There is street parking throughout neighborhood streets. Be sure to look for street signs. Everything near the Navy base or a school requires a special permit.
