This little park is named after William Sanger Cronan, II, whose heroic rescue efforts during the disaster of the USS Bennington explosion in San Diego Bay in July 21, 1905 earned him a Medal of Honor. Located at the intersection of Pomona Avenue and 6th Street.
This center was created to improve public access along the bay, improve local water quality and improve City services for Coronado residents and visitors.
This park is adjacent to the Coronado Cays and borders Glorietta Bay. Owned by the Port of San Diego, it features unique natural plants and native plants of California in a botanical setting. There is a naturalized path, some benches, a bike rack and a bronze sculpture called “Sheltering Wings.”
